Job Description

BlackHouse seeks experienced Senior Producers with a background in live and virtual events. The Senior Producer will be responsible for planning and executing production deliverables throughout the event process, including budgeting, pre-production planning, logistics, sourcing vendors, on-site management, and post-production reporting. Candidates must be capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines, and communicating effectively with clients and the tribe. (Note: there is no fixed start date; we are considering candidates for future events and contracts.)

Responsibilities

Pre-Production:

• Design: Pitch creative solutions, develop presentations in Canva, draft sketch layouts with the Technical Director.
• Programming: Collaborate with the Event Director on programming and activations, source and manage talent.
• Press & PR: Manage press and public relations efforts.

Project Management:

• Build and maintain client relationships, ensuring needs are understood and addressed promptly.
• Work with the Production Director to manage production, collaborating with clients remotely and in person.
• Draft agendas, utilize AI note-taking tools, update work-back schedules, and track tasks in Asana and Google Sheets.
• Organize vendor meetings, manage budgets, and ensure scope adherence.
• Coordinate safety and escalation plans, develop run-of-show templates, and communicate schedules clearly.
• Oversee vendor sourcing, manage budgets, and track inventory and orders.
• Manage staff during pre-production, train junior staff, and coordinate with technical teams.

On-site Requirements:

• Manage logistics, client and venue relations, vendor coordination, and activation management.

Post Production:

• Conduct debriefs, produce post-event reports, and complete internal surveys.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of experience as an Event Producer in an agency setting.
• Strong project management, budgeting, and logistics skills.
• Experience with exhibition, experiential, and production management.
• Excellent negotiation, risk management, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Drive.
• Creative, resourceful, highly organized, and proactive.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressure.
• Willingness to work outside normal hours and travel as needed.
• Knowledge of technical production disciplines and software such as Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
• Familiarity with virtual platforms and project management tools like Asana preferred.
