Job summary

WPP Production is seeking a Senior Producer to lead creative production efforts across integrated platforms, balancing on-set oversight with complex post-production management. Qualifications

  • End-to-End Management: scope, ballpark estimates, detailed schedules, and project scope from inception to delivery.
  • On-Set Leadership: lead physical production and coordinate with agency, clients, and external partners.
  • Post-Production Oversight: manage CGI, color correction, and online/offline editing pipelines for broadcast and digital assets.
  • Budget & Financial Management: track invoices, budgets, and wrap-out final productions.
  • Mentorship & Risk: guide teams, anticipate challenges, and apply proactive risk assessment.

What does a Senior Producer do at WPP Production?

As a Senior Producer, you will be a creative production leader and critical thinker who elevates every project regardless of scale. Working closely with senior leaders, you will oversee day-to-day production responsibilities, ensuring projects are executed to the highest standards within established budgets and timelines. You will act as a primary, client-facing point of contact for both on-set production and complex post- production workflows. The ideal candidate will have ambitions that push production and technological limits, possessing deep experience across integrated platforms, physical shoots, and post-production management.

Responsibilities
Creative & Production Execution
  • End-to-End Management: Scope, ballpark, and execute creative concepts, break down scripts, build detailed project schedules, and manage project scope from inception through final delivery.
  • On-Set Leadership: Lead physical production on set, facilitating all communication between theagency, clients, and external production partners.
  • Post-Production Oversight: Serve as the lead point of contact for complex post-productionpipelines, overseeing CGI, color correction, and online/offline editing for broadcast, social, anddigital deliverables.
  • Creative Problem Solving: Actively contribute to the elevation of the creative product; seek innovative, high-quality solutions to financial or time limitations.
Relationship & Account Management
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Communicate proactively with Creative, Account Services, BusinessAffairs, and Talent departments regarding milestones and deliverables to keep processes flowingsmoothly.
  • Client Partnership: Serve as a trusted, client-facing partner, articulately presenting complex production plans to stakeholders with varying levels of production knowledge.
  • Industry Relations: Research, select, and negotiate with top-tier directors, cinematographers,and specialized vendors, maintaining the agency’s reputation and standard of excellence.
Financial, Legal & Talent Business Affairs
  • Budget & Financial Management: Generate estimates, track invoices, manage budgets, andpartner with Business Affairs Managers on final project actualizations and efficient wrap-outs.
  • Compliance & Talent Regulations: Maintain a strong working knowledge of client compliance,legal guidelines, and talent/union regulations (including SAG-AFTRA guidelines and costs) toadvise both agency teams and clients.
Innovation & Team Mentorship
  • Trend & Tech Leadership: Stay informed of industry trends, emerging technologies (including Altools and next-generation production processes), and award-winning work.
  • Team Support: Mentor and support fellow producers, helping guide teams away from avoidablechallenges using proactive risk assessment.
Qualifications
  • Experience: 7-10 years of integrated production management experience within a creativeagency or global production studio.
  • Sector Expertise: Proven track record in physical production, post-production (CGI, editing,VFX), and a strong portfolio. Experience in digital and experiential platforms is a plus.
  • Food & Beverage Expirence:Strong, proven experience producing food & beverage campaigns, ideally for major global brands. Candidates should have experience leading high-end food and beverage shoots, with a strong understanding of the craft and technical requirements specific to this category.
  • Technical & Process Knowledge: Deep technical understanding of post-production workflowsand physical shoot logistics.
  • Talent/Union Acumen: Strong familiarity with SAG-AFTRA rules, talent contracts, and union/non-union talent costing.
  • Financial Acumen: Proven experience in budgeting, estimating, scoping, and overall projectfinancial management.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to managemultiple complex, concurrent projects under tight deadlines.
  • Tech Savviness: Proficiency in modern project management tools, software, and an openness toleveraging next-generation Al and production tools.

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range as listed below. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. We offer a competitive benefits package

US Pay Range

$60,000—$140,000 USD
