As a Senior Procurement Specialist, you will have a direct impact on the efficiency and effectiveness of our supply chain operations across the EMEA region. Your expertise will contribute to cost savings, improved supplier relationships, and enhanced product quality, ultimately supporting the company's growth and success.
Here, you will make an impact by:
Develop and implement supplier performance management strategies to ensure alignment with company goals.
Monitor and evaluate supplier performance metrics, including quality, delivery, and cost.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve supplier-related issues.
Lead supplier performance reviews and negotiations to drive improvements and cost savings.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to foster collaboration and innovation.
Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for process improvements.
Develop and execute supplier development programs to enhance capabilities and performance.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who meet following minimum requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Previous experience in supplier performance management or a similar role.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Proven track record of driving supplier performance improvements and cost savings.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.
Knowledge of industry standards and best practices.
