• Prepares FAR/DFARS compliant Purchase Orders while adhering to CPSR file documentation requirements.
• Places Purchase Orders of medium to high complexity.
• Identifies supplier risks and opportunities.
• Multi‑tasks and performs in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
• Participates in and drives supplier management activities.
• Makes supplier visits as required to ensure support of program and customer requirements and schedules.
• Leads supplier meetings and provides status to internal stakeholders.
• Performs due diligence of suppliers prior to and post PO award.
• Maintains and provides order and supplier delivery status.

The Opportunity

CACI is currently looking for a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Procurement Specialist to join our dynamic, cross‑functional, and geographically distributed team in Melbourne, FL. In this role you will play a key part in supporting the delivery of high‑performance RF hardware, firmware, and software products, and innovative, practical, multi‑function RF systems solutions that address emerging missions of national importance for customers across the Department of Defense.

This position is primarily responsible for sourcing, negotiating, awarding, documenting, and managing the procurement cycle for both material and services‑based requirements including fabricated / machined items that are built‑to‑print or specification defined in a Technical Data Package (TDP). In this role, the individual will be responsible for placing requirements on Purchase Orders (PO) then managing the supplier and the PO through to delivery and PO closeout after final payment is completed.

• Advanced skills using Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills: ability to lead formal negotiations and teleconferences (price, schedule, and supplier exceptions to contractual flow‑down requirements).
• Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with internal customers, all levels of management, and to suppliers.
• Excellent time management skills: the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet team performance cadence (PR/PO updates; PR cycle time, on‑time‑delivery, and other company metrics).
