Job summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Procurement Specialist to support large-scale industrial and manufacturing capital projects. This individual will manage procurement activities for equipment, materials, construction services, and other project-related packages.

The ideal candidate will have direct experience working with EPC/EPCM contractors and managing procurement for complex capital projects. This role requires strong commercial, negotiation, and supplier management skills, along with the ability to work independently across multiple project scopes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage procurement packages from initial sourcing and RFQs/RFPs through negotiations, contract award, and delivery.
• Partner with engineering, construction, project management, and EPC/EPCM teams to align procurement with project schedules and budgets.
• Evaluate supplier bids, negotiate commercial terms, and develop award recommendations.
• Oversee supplier and contractor performance, including expediting, delivery schedules, and contract changes.
• Manage procurement of engineered equipment, construction materials, and long-lead items.
• Identify and mitigate supplier, cost, and schedule risks.
• Maintain procurement documentation, supplier records, and purchasing commitments within ERP systems.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or commercial management.
