Job summary

NES Fircroft is seeking a Procurement Manager in Anchorage, Alaska. The role leads sourcing, acquisition, and delivery for major project executions, aligning procurement with budgets, schedules, and governance.

You will drive supplier relationships, mitigate commercial risk, and ensure timely material delivery through strategic leadership across procurement functions. The ideal candidate has extensive procurement and supply chain experience, strong commercial acumen, and exceptional negotiation

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Minimum 10 years of progressive procurement experience.
5+ years on large-scale industrial projects (mining, energy, infrastructure, or construction).
Professional certification (CPM, CPSM, SCMP) is an asset.

Responsibilities

Develop procurement strategies aligned with project plans, cost objectives, and schedules.
Lead procurement activities from planning through award and delivery.
Direct supplier prequalification, bidding, evaluation, and award recommendations.
Negotiate contracts to optimize cost, quality, delivery, and risk.
Monitor market conditions and supplier capability for long-lead items.
Coordinate procurement with engineering, controls, construction, logistics, and contracts.
