Qualifications

• Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.
• 6-7+ years in procurement with supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervises associates including staffing, coaching, performance management, and problem resolution.
• Manage inventory levels, negotiate with vendors, and optimize cash flow and service levels.
• Interact with customers and vendors to answer questions promptly and maintain high fill-rate service levels.
• Establish procedures to increase purchasing department efficiency and productivity.
• Improve purchasing strategies and knowledge of food distribution and foodservice industry.
• May be responsible for managing the marketing/merchandising function.
