Job summary

BETA Technologies in Vermont is seeking a seasoned Procurement Manager (Systems and Interiors) to lead procurement and subcontracting for aircraft systems and interior components. You will manage buyers and subcontract administrators, collaborating with Engineering, Quality, Operations, Finance, and Program teams to ensure cost, quality, and schedule goals are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or Supply Chain or related field.
• 10+ years of procurement experience with aerospace or complex portfolios.
• 3+ years of people leadership leading procurement teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement and subcontracting for systems and interiors.
• Develop procurement plans, SOWs, RFPs and supplier selections.
• Lead commercial negotiations, contracts and supplier agreements.
• Manage supplier performance: cost, quality, delivery, capacity, schedule.
• Identify supplier risks and support production readiness and ramp.
• Provide leadership during program and supplier reviews.
• Partner with Engineering, Quality, Operations, Finance, and Program teams.
• Establish category and supplier priorities for parts coverage.
• Develop and mentor buyers and subcontract administrators.
• Improve procurement processes, tools and metrics.
• Communicate with leadership and maintain commercial authority.
• Travel up to 25%.
