This role requires independent judgment and collaboration across departments. Preferred candidates have 4+ years in purchasing, higher education experience, and familiarity with UT

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; relevant education/experience may be substituted.
• Minimum 3 years of purchasing or related experience.
• Higher education purchasing and UT policies familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees purchasing for UHD constituents and adheres to policy.
• Sources vendors and manages contracts from drafting to execution.
• Guides other buyers and streamlines procurement processes.
