Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Public Administration, Finance, Purchasing or closely related field.
• Minimum five (5) years progressively responsible experience in procurement.
• Certified Public Procurement Buyer (CPPB) or equivalent required; if not achieved, must be achieved within two years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Procure and coordinate from need identification to contract execution for architectural, engineering and other complex professional services.
• Prepare and analyze competitive bids, proposals, and qualifications.
• Lead complex negotiations with consultants and contractors on scope, price and terms.
• Administer contracts, change orders and amendments; ensure compliance with terms and grant requirements.
• Coordinate industry review meetings, pre-bid conferences and evaluation committee meetings.
