The role collaborates with supply chain, operations, finance and commercial teams to resolve issues and implement cross‑functional improvements.

The ideal candidate will analyze spend, forecast trends, and lead cost-savings initiatives while advancing supplier diversity and sustainable procurement practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field and 3+ years of experience.
• Ability to travel domestically to manufacturing plants on short notice.
• Proficient in MS Suite (Excel, MS Project, Powerpoint and Word).
• Strong analytical skills with Excel and pivot tables.
• Process-oriented with strategic and tactical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Supports procurement processes including requirements gathering, bidding, pricing, and contracts.
• Analyzes spend and total cost of ownership for goods and services.
• Gathers market data and forecasts trends for cost savings initiatives.
• Identifies gaps in procurement processes and leads improvements.
• Supports diversity data collection and regulatory reporting for supply chain.
• Leads development of standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Assists in budgeting for commodities and negotiated pricing.
• Tracks KPIs for procurement and supplier performance.
