Job Opportunity: Strategic Supplier Negotiator

Role Overview

Partner with executive leadership to lead initiatives that enhance overall performance by collaborating with new suppliers and vendors or renegotiating existing agreements. Your goals will include:

1. Improving financial results by reducing costs and optimizing economic outcomes of supplier agreements.
2. Conducting industry research, benchmarking, and analysis to identify top vendors and optimal pricing strategies.
3. Collaborating with suppliers to identify innovative performance outcomes.
4. Structuring performance-based operating agreements and contracts, including incentives for meeting or exceeding targets, aligned with mutual goals.
5. Negotiating financial consequences for underperformance and including liquidated damages and termination clauses when necessary.

Responsibilities

This role involves extensive research, planning, strategy, and analysis to develop optimal agreement structures before issuing RFPs, negotiating terms, and partnering with legal teams to finalize contracts. You will build ongoing partnerships, review performance, and seek continuous improvements for mutual benefit.
