Job summary

Solenis LLC in West Virginia is seeking a qualified professional with a strong background in Process Safety to join their team. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience and a B.S. degree in a relevant technical field, preferably Chemical Engineering. Responsibilities include performing risk assessments, providing technical support, and developing safety standards.

• Perform Risk Assessments for CapEx Projects and targeted processes.

• Provide Process Safety technical support to CapEx Project teams.
• Conduct Process Safety audits with EHS.
• Provide training to CapEx teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Risk Assessments for CapEx Projects and targeted processes – 25%
• Delevop standards and procedures to support the Corporate and Engineering Process Safety Road Map – 40%
• Provide Process Safety technical support to CapEx Project teams – 10%
• Conduct Process Safety audits with EHS – 10%
• Provide training to CapEx teams – 5%
• Maintain an upgrade ARA software for Hazard Review – 10%

Qualifications

Education

• B.S. degree in technical field, preferably Chemical Engineering

Experience

• Chemical manufacturing processes & plant operations, fundamental engineering & chemistry principles, EHS standards, business & financial principles

Licensure & Certifications

• TUV Functional Safety Certification would be a value add.
