CordenPharma Colorado (CPC) is seeking a Sr. Process Safety Engineer to provide process safety engineering expertise and leadership to ensure safe operation of facilities in Boulder.

The role covers design, installation, operation, decommissioning and maintenance of systems, focusing on proactive identification and mitigation of chemical releases, with strong emphasis on regulatory compliance, training, and incident investigations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering with chemical plant experience.
• Minimum five years in process engineering with process safety responsibilities.
• Hands-on manufacturing experience with safety programs and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional support and guidance for PSM elements.
• Lead training and knowledge sharing on process safety.
• Develop and improve process safety policies, procedures, and systems.
• Lead risk assessment and incident investigation teams.
• Coordinate testing of materials for hazards data.
