IPS is seeking a Lead Piping Designer to join our Process Piping Department. This role is based in the United States at one of our offices and involves managing piping design for life sciences facilities, including 3D modeling, 2D layouts, and coordination with vendors.

You will lead piping design efforts, produce detailed drawings, ensure design intent, and support project delivery across multiple sites. Travel may be required as projects demand.

Formación

• 15+ years of prior piping design experience.
• Proven experience with piping design software and isometric drawing production.
• Technical or Associate degree in mechanical engineering design.

Responsabilidades

• Work independently on conceptual and detailed design projects as assigned by a Project Manager or Director.
• Prepare piping plans, equipment layout, section layouts, and 2D drawings; produce material take-offs.
• Coordinate design work with other disciplines and ensure documents reflect design intent.
• Assist in coordinating project documents internally and with clients and vendors.
