I'm supporting a specialist manufacturing consultancy hiring Consultants and Senior Consultants across the US.
This is for experienced engineers who want more than another manufacturing role.
You’ll work with leading global businesses on multimillion-dollar transformation programmes, taking ownership of complex operational challenges and delivering measurable commercial impact across:
The exposure is significant. You’ll work with the leading businesses in multiple business sectors, work directly with senior client stakeholders, influence decisions on site and be accountable for delivering results, that have an unbelievable commercial impact, you will not simply be making recommendations.
They are looking for strong Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, Process or Manufacturing Engineers with experience in complex, large-scale, steady-state manufacturing environments.
Consultant: typically 3-6 years' experience with strong technical foundations and evidence of owning meaningful improvement work.
Senior Consultant: typically 6+ years with the ability to lead workstreams, influence senior stakeholders, mentor others and take responsibility for delivery.
Across both levels, the key is evidence of real impact: improving yield, throughput, capacity, quality, waste, cost or cycle time.
The trade-off is travel. This is hands-on consulting, with four days per week typically spent on client sites across the US. The Boston location is my client head office where you will spend two days a month.
The upside is career acceleration: bigger problems, better clients, greater responsibility, senior stakeholder exposure and significantly faster progression than is typically available in industry.
