Job summary

Lonza is seeking a site-based Process Mechanic in Vacaville, CA to maximize equipment availability through preventive and corrective maintenance. The role works on a 6:00–18:30 day shift or 18:00–06:30 night shift, with a comprehensive benefits package and a focus on GMP-compliant operations.

The successful candidate will read P&IDs, perform safe maintenance, and collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Technology, and Engineering.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in GMP environment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience with CMMS and calibration programs.

Responsibilities

• Timely execution of tasks and work orders with proper documentation.
• Safe operation of tools and equipment; work at heights with fall protection.
• Confined Space Entry in compliance with laws and policies.
• Read piping and instrumentation drawings and technical manuals.
• Basic computer skills; use of CMMS and MS Office.
