Job summary

Delta System & Software, Inc. is seeking a Business Process Engineer for Fort Belvoir, VA, onsite five days a week. The role focuses on organizing studies of current and future business processes and developing methods to improve productivity, efficiency, and cost.

The candidate will apply Lean Six Sigma, Agile, and PMI principles to drive improvements and collaborate with project officers. The position involves analyzing current processes, designing future state diagrams, and coordinating SOP

Qualifications

• Experience in process improvement assessments and applying Lean Six Sigma or Agile principles to optimize operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide PM IEN leadership with insight and recommendations through process improvement assessments, studies, and application of business principles and industry best practices.
• Perform Business Process Improvement and Business Process Reengineering to streamline processes and operations and advise leadership on opportunities to improve operations.
• Collect requirements via interviews and document reviews.
• Identify process actors and inputs/outputs.
• Design current state business process diagrams.
• Conduct efficiency analysis and create future state diagrams.
• Coordinate for SOPs: maintain SOP lists, draft process narratives, identify authors, and assist SOP authors.
• Support data capture efforts: collect requirements, design and validate data capture, and configure forms.
• Assist Operations Lead and team with presentation and reporting development for briefings.
• Support development and response to Task Management Tool requests (ASA(ALT) brief).
• Provide Records Management support for Microsoft Teams.
• Perform additional business process and operations tasks as requested.
• Engage and collaborate with Project Officers
