Job summary

Abbott Laboratories is seeking a high-level Business Excellence Manager in Sylmar, CA to lead cross-functional Lean and Six Sigma process improvement initiatives within the Operations organization. You will manage strategic projects, apply Kaizen and Value Stream Mapping, and drive sustained improvements across manufacturing and supply chain processes.

The role requires a minimum of 9 years in process improvement, with a Bachelor’s or Master’s in engineering or business.

Qualifications

• Minimum 9 years of experience in Lean/Six Sigma process improvement
• Knowledge of Lean tools such as standard work, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, and Kaizen
• Proven ability to facilitate cross-functional change
• Experience delivering significant strategic results for Business Process Improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Leads strategic, complex process improvement projects in the division.
• Delivers strategic results in conjunction with division goals and objectives.
• Evaluates business processes and determines initiatives that yield greater productivity and efficiency.
• Acts as a cross-functional change agent to drive and sustain measurable Business Process Improvement for the division.
• Mentors, role models and coaches in the implementation of best practices.
