Job summary

HII’s Newport News Shipbuilding is seeking a senior professional to define, design and implement continuous improvement initiatives within the Technology Integration group in Department E92, supporting the CTO.

The role focuses on establishing and managing department initiatives, leading a MX training trailer project, and guiding a division rebrand with strategic communication plans and a structured engineering rotation program to accelerate skill development and retention.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of relevant exempt experience; Master’s Degree and 8 year of relevant professional experience
• Defines, designs and implements continuous improvement programs across the organization

Responsibilities

• Defines, designs and implements continuous improvement programs to ensure programs are integrated vertically and horizontally across organization.
• Establishes and maintains performance metrics to measure program success.
• Facilitates and coaches improvement teams and leads department initiatives.
