Job summary

Genie Matthews and Associates is seeking a Manager of Process Engineering in Austin, TX. This onsite role leads a seasoned team to take products from design into production, guiding process improvements and CAPA work across multiple product lines.

You will be the manufacturing expert on cross-functional teams, drive design transfer, and provide DFMA input while coordinating with suppliers and internal groups.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in process or manufacturing engineering.
• 3+ years managing an engineering team.
• Machining background.
• New product introduction experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop manufacturing engineers and technicians.
• Serve as the primary process and manufacturing expert on cross-functional new product teams.
• Drive design transfer of new products into production, both in-house and at suppliers.
• Give design for manufacturability (DFM) input on engineering prints and communicate process limits and capabilities to design teams.
• Own deliverables tied to CAPA, project management and quality systems.
