Job summary

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (GD-OTS) Lincoln Operations seeks a results-driven leader to manage and develop a multidisciplinary team focused on machining and process optimization.

You will specify CNC process improvements, engage with operations, and own control plans and FMEA updates for core machining operations while coordinating with programs for development and production parts.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree and 7-8 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Manages and develops a team responsible for the optimization, design, and implementation of manufacturing processes, equipment, or plants.
• Drives continuous improvement in process design, cost savings, quality, and resource utilization.
• Leads engineering projects, incorporates newest technologies, resolves engineering problems, approves process designs.
• Collaborates with production, quality, and other departments to align engineering solutions with business goals.
• Leads and directs the work of other employees and has responsibility for personnel actions including hiring, performance management, and termination with concurrence from HR & Senior Leadership.
