Job summary

Audubon Companies seeks a Process Engineering Associate IV in Houston, TX. The role focuses on process-engineering assignments for designing equipment, components, structures or systems.

Responsibilities include preparing specifications, conducting calculations, reviewing vendor drawings, and communicating with clients and vendors to ensure projects meet scope, time, and budget while following HSSE standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
  • ABET Accredited Institution preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering preferred.
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification preferred.
  • Field experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience preferred.
  • P&ID development experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of API codes and process design standards preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare intermediate to advanced specifications detailing client performance requirements and design codes.
  • Prepare sketches, perform calculations and develop analysis models for moderately complex projects.
  • Review/approve vendor drawings for compliance with specifications.
  • Interact with clients, subcontractors, vendors and other consultants.
  • Ensure projects meet schedule and budget.
  • Adhere to HSSE standards and company procedures.
  • Visit job-sites and vendor facilities to assess requirements and compliance.
  • Develop and review engineering drawings with drafting/design groups.
