Job summary

Rhodes Wolfe is seeking a Senior Process Engineer in a hybrid role to lead the design and execution of turnkey sanitary processing systems, including skid systems and tank solutions. You will work with customers and internal teams from concept through commissioning, leveraging strong leadership and domain expertise.

You’ll mentor junior engineers, drive process optimization, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and contribute to proposals and cost-reduction initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
• 7+ years process engineering experience required.
• Experience in food, beverage, dairy, pharmaceutical, or sanitary industries preferred.
• Strong knowledge of sanitary process design and CIP/SIP systems required.
• Experience delivering turnkey skid and tank systems required.

Responsibilities

• Lead process engineering projects from concept through commissioning/startup.
• Design complex sanitary process systems including multi-skid, CIP/SIP, and aseptic processing.
• Review and approve PFDs, P&IDs, process calculations, and engineering deliverables.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering team members.
• Lead customer technical discussions, design reviews, and risk assessments.
• Ensure compliance ASME BPE and other regulatory standards.
• Support proposals, estimates, standardization, and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Participate in FAT oversight, commissioning, and onsite startup support.
