Responsibilities
  • Process Design and Development: Part of the team of process engineers designing the dairy processing operations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including Capital project managers, Operations, Quality, etc to ensure seamless integration of process engineering solutions.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with process engineering projects, ensuring safety and reliability.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of process designs, specifications, and project progress.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Travel: Occasional travel to equipment vendors and other Chobani sites
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in process engineering. Experience in hygienic process design, specific experience with cultured dairy products and aseptic processing is a plus. Understanding of PLC and logic controls for manufacturing equipment is preferred
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in process simulation software, CAD tools, and other relevant engineering applications.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative solutions to technical challenges.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including team management, mentorship, and conflict resolution.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
