Job summary

Roquette, a global leader in plant-based ingredients, seeks a Senior Engineer – Process Research and Development for an on-site role in Midland, Michigan, USA. You will drive process technology development and asset strategy within Health & Pharma Solutions, scaling from lab to pilot to commercial production while mentoring teammates and growing into leadership roles.

Qualifications

• PhD in chemistry, chemical engineering, physics or materials science with 3+ years industrial exp.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree candidates with substantial industrial experience may also qualify.
• Fluent in English; travel <10% expected.

Responsibilities

• Lead scale-up activities from lab to pilot scale.
• Support implementation in commercial-scale production.
• Collaborate with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, Marketing and Sales.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements.
