Job summary

IPG is seeking a senior process engineer to provide corporate process-engineering leadership for paper-based manufacturing, including converting, web handling, and adhesive application. You will develop, optimize, and standardize processes to improve safety, quality, throughput, OEE, reliability, and cost.

You will partner with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, R&D/Product Development, Commercial, and Engineering to industrialize new products and technologies, and you will support capital

Qualifications

• Five+ years in process-engineering within paper or high-speed web manufacturing.
• Direct experience in paper/converting and packaging is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead process-engineering across paper-based manufacturing with focus on converting and web handling.
• Develop and standardize processes to improve safety, quality, throughput and OEE.
• Partner with operations, maintenance, quality, R&D and suppliers to industrialize new products.
• Provide support for capital projects, FAT/SAT, commissioning, and ramp-up.
