Job summary

Matlen Silver seeks an experienced Senior Process Engineer to support NPI, manufacturing process development, and advanced operations. This role focuses on developing, implementing, validating, and optimizing processes, equipment, and procedures for new product launches and continuous improvement.

You will collaborate with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams, conduct process validation and PFMEA, drive efficiency, and train site staff while ensuring GMP, quality, and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• Minimum 2+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and manufacturing engineering principles.
• Knowledge of process development, implementation, or process improvement.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams.
• Willingness to work onsite in Tempe, AZ at least 3 days per week.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Process Engineer to support New Product Introduction (NPI), manufacturing process development, and advanced manufacturing operations. This role will focus on developing, implementing, validating, and optimizing manufacturing processes, equipment, and procedures required for new product launches. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in manufacturing engineering, process development, process validation, and continuous improvement, with the ability to collaborate across engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams to ensure successful product and process implementation.

Project Details:

• Provide engineering support for new product and manufacturing process introductions.
• Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to ensure product quality, reliability, and efficiency.
• Support equipment selection, design, installation, qualification, and validation.
• Assist with equipment specifications, capital acquisition, and installation activities.
• Develop operating procedures, troubleshooting guides, and preventive maintenance documentation.
• Analyze equipment performance, establish operating parameters, and conduct experimental testing.
• Participate in PFMEA, Control Plan, SOP, and PPAP development.
• Conduct process capability studies and Measurement System Analysis (MSA).
• Execute process qualifications, validations, and verification activities for new products and processes.
• Review and approve validation documentation.
• Provide hands‑on manufacturing site support during new process implementation and product launches.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce manufacturing cycle time, improve quality, and enhance operational efficiency.
• Provide training to manufacturing personnel and ensure adherence to GMP, quality, and safety standards.

Must Haves

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (required).
• Minimum 2+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and manufacturing engineering principles.
• Knowledge of process development, implementation, or process improvement.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams.
• Willingness to work onsite in Tempe, AZ at least 3 days per week.

Desired Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Systems Engineering.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or higher.
• Experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, product design, and process design.
• Understanding of Design for Manufacturing (DFM), statistical tools, and validation/verification methodologies.
• Experience writing and executing process validations, including IQ/OQ/PQ.
• Knowledge of PFMEA, MSA, PPAP, Control Plans, and SOP documentation.
• Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, FDA‑regulated, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with GMP and continuous improvement methodologies.
