Job summary

Persona AI, Inc. in Houston seeks a Senior Process Engineer to design and build Persona's production system from the ground up, leading layout, process development, and equipment selection for scalable humanoid robot manufacturing.

You will own process architecture, drive continuous improvement, mentor floor teams, and work closely with Quality, Supply Chain, and engineering to ensure robust, repeatable builds.

Qualifications

• 10–15+ years in manufacturing or process engineering in a complex hardware environment such as robotics or aerospace.
• Experience designing and building production systems from the ground up.
• Experience with MES systems (Tulip, ProPlanner, or like).

Responsibilities

• Own factory layout and process flow to optimize material movement and throughput.
• Define and document the robot build sequence, work instructions, and standard work.
• Specify and procure capital equipment and tooling for the line.
• Design factory floor metrics and visual management for clear status visibility.
• Lead root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives on the production line.
• Collaborate with Quality, Supply Chain, and engineering to influence DFM/DFA and prevent production problems.
