Job summary

Kinder’s Premium Quality Seasonings & Sauces in Walnut Creek, CA, seeks a highly detail-oriented Sr. Process Engineer to design, implement, optimize, and document food manufacturing processes ensuring top quality and consistency.

The role requires 5–7 years of process engineering or food manufacturing experience, and a willingness to travel up to 50% to support co-manufacturers and site validation. This is an onsite position with growth in a fast-paced food company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required with strong problem solving and data analysis skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% and work across multiple sites.
• 5–7 years of experience in process engineering or food manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize production processes in partnership with co-manufacturers.
• Identify inconsistencies and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop and maintain process documentation and work instructions.
• Travel to co-manufacturing sites to support trial runs and first production activities.
• Support onboarding of new co-manufacturers including process transfer and validation.
