Job summary

Nexuse Group in Maumee, Ohio, is looking for a Senior Process Engineer to lead the basic process design of projects. You’ll collaborate closely with project teams, clients, and vendors to ensure successful project execution.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering, over 10 years of experience, and strong skills in process simulation. Expect a mix of office and site work, with travel required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in oil & gas or chemical industries.
• Ability to build process simulation models and perform hydraulic calculations.
• Experience with equipment sizing for various process components.

Responsibilities

• Develop documented design basis and process descriptions.
• Build process simulation models in Aspen HYSYS.
• Interface directly with clients and support project execution.

Skills

Hands-on experience designing process equipment

Process simulation experience with Aspen HYSYS

Strong Microsoft Office skills

Excellent communication skills

Detail-oriented

Education

Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering

Professional Engineer (P.E.) license

EIT certification
