Job summary

Pregis is seeking a Technical Coatings Engineer to lead tests and qualifications of temporary surface protection products, work with customers, and support product development in a lab environment.

The role involves coordinating with sales, marketing, and operations to ensure high-quality, sustainable solutions and effective communication of results. Strong multitasking and technical skills are required on a broad range of materials.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in coatings processes and development or five years’ experience in a product development field.
• Strong attention to detail and quality inspection with a tactical mindset.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead tests and qualifications of temporary surface protection products for customer applications.
• Provide solutions toward sustainability, quality, and process improvement objectives.
• Advise on protective surface product best practices for client needs.
• Manage projects to meet product performance objectives and improvement goals.
• Produce samples and prototypes for customers.
• Interface with product development, sales, marketing, ops, and customers regularly.
