Job summary

Leprino is seeking a Senior Process Engineer in Denver to own large, high-complexity capital projects across our cheese and nutrition manufacturing network. The role leads design decisions and executes from early design through commissioning with plant teams, equipment partners and contractors.

Starting compensation is $122,000 to $140,000 with an annual target bonus of 12%. You must travel up to 70% in support of project execution and work across multiple sites to deliver scalable, hygienic

Qualifications

• Ownership of large, complex capital projects including scope, budget, schedule, and outcomes.
• Strong process engineering fundamentals, mass balance, thermal/fluid systems, CIP, hygienic layout.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver large cross-functional capital projects from design through start-up.
• Lead process design for cheese and nutrition systems.
• Collaborate with equipment suppliers and engineering firms on co-design and implementation.
• Serve as technical authority balancing cost, schedule, operability, safety and performance.
• Translate business needs into process concepts, layouts, mass balances, P&IDs, commissioning strategies.
• Support installation, commissioning and start-up with planned site presence.
• Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Maintenance and Plant Engineering to ensure integration.
• Contribute to Leprino’s process and construction standards.
