Job summary

Amazon in Bellevue, WA is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to own strategic and tactical operational projects across SSD facilities. You will lead cross-functional teams, design and optimize material handling processes, and drive system-wide improvements to safety, quality, and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Reliability Engineering.
• 5+ years of directly managing and being responsible for multiple large projects experience.
• 5+ years of experience in material handling equipment (MHE) or automation environments or reliability/maintenance environments.
• Experience in automated or non-automated material handling equipment.
• Work flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Design process: develop or modify processes, select equipment, meet safety and productivity goals, optimize to reduce waste and costs.
• Ensure quality and safety: develop testing methods, ensure safety compliance, investigate issues.
• Collaboration and communication: partner with stakeholders to improve safety, quality and efficiency.
• Monitoring and analysis: monitor process performance and analyze data to drive improvements.
• Utilize emerging technologies: use process simulation tools and implement new technologies.
