Job summary

AD Energy invites a Senior Process Engineer to join its Indiana RNG facility, driving plant performance and reliability. This hands-on role partners with operations to own process improvements and maximise uptime across RNG production, power generation, and solids separation processes.

The successful candidate will apply strong troubleshooting, data analysis and problem-solving skills to develop operating envelopes, document procedures and support continuous improvement initiatives on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 5+ years of relevant process engineering experience.
• Background within renewable energy, power generation, oil & gas, manufacturing, pharmaceutical or wastewater treatment.
• Strong process troubleshooting and analytical capabilities.
• Comfortable analysing operational data and identifying trends.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor key process variables to ensure stable operation and performance.
• Track process KPIs and troubleshoot production and equipment performance.
• Develop operating envelopes and process documentation.
• Create and maintain Standard Work, Reaction Plans and FMEAs.
• Support PSM, PHA, HAZOP/HAZCOM and Management of Change (MOC) programmes.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) following equipment failures and process deviations.
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment uptime, SCADA and process automation.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.
• Optimise processes to reduce waste, improve efficiency and maximise system uptime.
• Support future business, plant and product expansion projects.

About the Role

AD Energy is partnering with a growing organisation within the renewable natural gas and waste-to-value sector to recruit a Senior Process Engineer for its Indiana facility.

This is a hands-on, site-based engineering role focused on improving plant performance, process reliability and operational efficiency. You will work closely with operations, taking ownership of process improvements and helping maximise uptime, efficiency and overall plant performance across RNG production, power generation and solids separation processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Track process KPIs and troubleshoot production and equipment performance
• Develop operating envelopes and process documentation
