Job summary

System One, Portage, MI, seeks a Senior Process Engineer for a contract, onsite role from 8am-5pm. This position supports high-impact projects across Product Transfer, Operations and divisional partners, with emphasis on PPAP and data-driven process improvement.

The candidate will analyze equipment data, validate processes, and contribute to PFMEA, Control Plans, and SOP development while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering Field.
• 4+ years of professional experience.
• Equipment Validation Experience.
• Statistical methods for process development.
• Manufacturing/Test Equipment Integration & Troubleshooting.

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

Responsibilities

• The role contributes to the delivery of high impact, cost transformative projects.

• The role will require the successful candidate to operate across a network of stakeholders from Product Transfer, Operations and Divisional partners, therefore strong interpersonal skills and communication skills will be necessary.

• Position will require PPAP skills, analyze equipment to establish operating data, conduct experimental test and result analysis.

• May lead or act as independent reviewer in process review meetings.

• Participate in PFMEA, Control Plan, SOP, PPAP and other company internal process qualification generation associated with product transfers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering Field

• 4+ years of professional experience

• Equipment Validation Experience.

• Statistical methods for process development.
