Job summary

Applica is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to support offshore topside maintenance and modification projects in the North Sea. You will develop process and utility designs, size equipment, prepare technical documents, and run simulations to ensure compliance with standards.

The role requires hands-on collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and active participation in safety reviews. The position involves a long-term renewable contract from January 2027 to April 2031, with responsibilities

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in a relevant engineering or scientific discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years' offshore maintenance and modification (M&M) experience, preferably in the North Sea.
• Experience delivering topside engineering projects on offshore platforms.
• Knowledge of NORSOK P-002, S-001 and Z-001, plus API, ISO and ASME standards.
• Proficiency with process engineering software: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, TIME, STID, Procosys.

About the Company

We are working with an established energy client delivering offshore projects in the North Sea. They are looking for an experienced Senior Process Engineer to support their topside maintenance and modification projects.

About the Role

As a Senior Process Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering process engineering activities across offshore topside projects. This includes developing and checking process and utility system designs, sizing process equipment such as compressors, heat exchangers, pumps and separators, and preparing key engineering documentation, including P&IDs, PFDs/UFDs, datasheets and line lists.

You will also perform process simulations and calculations, prepare and participate in HAZOPs, design reviews and other safety reviews, and ensure engineering deliverables meet relevant standards and regulations.

Key responsibilities:
