You will develop and execute process solutions from concept design through construction and commissioning, collaborating with clients to define requirements and deliver compliant, high-quality results. Qualifications

• BS or higher in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of process engineering experience in pharma/biotech.
• Knowledge of cGMP, regulatory guidelines, and equipment validation.
• Experience with process equipment specification, installation and startup.

Job description

JSG is seeking a Senior Process Engineer Join a dynamic team at the forefront of the biotech, biopharmaceutical, and pharmaceutical industries as a Senior Process Engineer. This critical role offers the opportunity to lead innovative process engineering projects, collaborate with top-tier stakeholders, and drive the successful delivery of cutting-edge solutions that make a real impact on health and life sciences. In this position, you will serve as a key technical leader, responsible for developing and executing process solutions from conceptual design through construction and commissioning. You’ll work closely with clients to define project requirements, develop comprehensive engineering documents, and ensure all systems meet strict regulatory and quality standards. Your expertise will help shape the future of manufacturing processes in highly regulated environments, supporting clients in the biotech and pharma sectors with your innovative approach and technical proficiency.

Pay$ 80/hour to $95/hour

Required Skills:

• BS or higher in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 15 years of experience in process engineering within pharma, biotech, or related industries
• Knowledge of cGMP, regulatory guidelines, and equipment validation
• Strong proficiency in utility, clean utility, and process equipment specification, installation, and startup
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Results-oriented with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking capabilities
• Proficient in MS Office and MS Project

Nice to Have Skills:

• PE license (preferred but not required)
• Experience with AutoCAD, HYSIS, AFT, or similar process simulation software
• Familiarity with design-build project delivery methodology
• Experience with validation protocols, containment systems, and clean-in-place (CIP) systems

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to travel 25-50% to Alabama and Virginia
• Ability to support project startup, commissioning, and validation efforts
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
