Job summary

Johnson Service Group (JSG) is seeking a Senior Process Engineer for our client’s operation near Denver, CO. The role delivers process engineering services, supports client projects, and collaborates with a Lead Process Engineer.

You will mentor junior engineers, apply oil and gas process experience, and use software such as Aspen HYSYS, Unisim, and BRE ProMax to model processes and optimize designs.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of process engineering experience in oil, natural gas, and/or chemical industries.
• ABET-accredited Chemical Engineering degree (Bachelors or Masters).
• Demonstrated capability as a process engineering lead.
• Experience working in multi-disciplinary projects and teams.
• Strong technical and practical engineering skills with consistent quality and timeliness.
• Familiarity with process engineering standards and regulatory requirements.
• Competent use of process engineering software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, Unisim, BRE ProMax).
• PE license preferred (CO and/or CA).

Responsibilities

• Provide process engineering services to client and customers.

Senior Process Engineer

Johnson Service Group (JSG) is actively searching for a Senior Process Engineer for our client’s operation near Denver, CO. This is a long-term contract position with competitive pay. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on state-of-the-art projects.

The Senior Process Engineer will provide process engineering services to client and its customers, perform process engineering tasks with oversight from a Lead Process Engineer, and provide mentorship to others within the process engineering team. You will bring oil refining, pipeline, and gas processing, and/or chemical industry experience to specifically support client’s client local to Denver, CO.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of process engineering experience executing projects in the oil, natural gas, and/or chemical industries.


• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree from an ABET accredited university or college in Chemical Engineering or related field.


• Demonstrated capability as a process engineering lead.


• Substantial experience of working in multi-disciplinary projects and teams.


• Highly effective technical and practical engineering skills and ability to consistently deliver quality, accurate, and timely work to Client and its customers.


• Knowledge of the fundamental requirements of the process engineering, and the basic requirements of other engineering fields.


• Knowledge of applicable local and international standards, statutory and regulatory requirements.


• Competent use of process engineering specific software.


• AspenTech products (HYSYS, Flare System Analyzer, etc.)


• Honeywell Unisim products


• BRE ProMax


• Hydraulic modeling software


• Other internal and external calculation tools and software


• Competent use of relevant software such as MS Office Suite.


• OGLA experience preferred.


• Pipeline Hydraulic Analysis preferred.


• Flow Assurance experience is a plus.


• Professional Engineer (PE) status preferred.


• CO and CA PE license preferred.
