We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Process Designer with advanced proficiency in developing complete robotic turn‑key processes to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and/or validate build processes based on customer requirements and specifications.
  • Utilize modeling and drafting software to produce and maintain system layouts.
  • Understand and interpret detailed tool design parameters related to product assembly load sequence and orientation.
  • Understand and interpret design parameters with application to build process aspects such as joint fastening equipment, manual equipment operation, system timings, safety/ergonomic standards, etc.
  • Oversee system layout creation and maintenance with focus on equipment placement and dimensioning.
  • Communicate and coordinate with internal departments to maintain project timeline and delivery dates. Provide forecast and updates during the project.
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and provide solutions to expected and unexpected engineering changes throughout any given project timeframe.
  • Maintain Bill of Materials and release corresponding equipment orders in a timely fashion.
  • Provide field installation support and assist in customer plant buyoff activities.

Experience: 7 + years of experience with automated manufacturing systems

Technical Skills:
  • Experience with BIW, MIG or Spot weld processes
  • Understanding of all cell peripheral electrical and control required cabinets and utility drop connection placements
  • Understanding of line rate, efficiencies and possess knowledge on zone content and buffer conditions
  • Mechanical systems and GD&T knowledge
  • Knowledge of one or more of the following: Unigraphics, Catia, Fides, Inventor & AutoCAD
  • Experience with one or more of the following Process Design, Process Simulate, FactoryCAD
Work Environment:

This position operates in both an office and a manufacturing site environment and may be required to work at multiple facilities depending on workload.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, and twist. Occasionally required to lift/push/pull up to 25lbs.

Expected Hours of Work:

This position is for regular full‑time work and frequently requires extended weekday and/or weekend work. The work hours are flexible around core business hours of 6am - 5pm.

Direct Reports:

This position does not have direct reports.

Travel:

This position requires frequent local travel and occasional overnight travel up to 10%.
