Job summary

Grace, a leading chemicals manufacturer, seeks a Process Controls Engineer for our Pasadena, TX facility. You will manage site-wide control systems, DCS/PLC, historian, and related infrastructure, coordinating with operations, maintenance and engineering teams.

You will optimize plant operations, improve process performance, and reduce downtime while supporting capital projects and automation improvements with expertise in major control platforms.

Qualifications

• BS degree in an engineering discipline; 7–10 years in design, selection, and application of process control equipment.
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills, failure analysis, and maintenance.
• Good communication at all levels; able to work in a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Support plant & lab Instrument and Control systems (Yokogawa, Rockwell, Modicon, DeltaV).
• Network admin tasks related to process control systems; troubleshoot.
• Maintain backups and security for servers/workstations/controllers.
• Program, configure, test, and troubleshoot control applications.
• Support DCS alarm reports and guidance; ensure alarm compliance.
