Job summary

Continental Carbon Co. is seeking a Senior Process Control Engineer to lead instrumentation and process control programs across the enterprise, including DCS projects and standard control strategies, in collaboration with plants and vendors.

Requires a chemical or electrical engineering degree and 10–15 years of experience; DeltaV DCS, PLCs, OSISoft PI, and strong PM skills; in-person work at manufacturing sites.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required, preferably Chemical or Electrical.
• 10-15 years of experience preferred.
• DCS experience with Emerson DeltaV is a must.
• Experience with PLCs and System Interfaces is a must.
• OSISoft PI Enterprise Server is strongly recommended.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Excel is a must.

Responsibilities

• Manage instrumentation and process controls activities company wide.
• Lead as discipline lead for I&C capital projects.
• Project manager/engineer for I&C capital projects.
• Provide technical support for instrumentation, controls, and DCS issues.
• Develop standard control strategies and I&C hardware/software standards.
• Troubleshoot DCS, instruments, and PLC interfaces.
• Develop and maintain DCS project schedules and manpower.
