Job summary

GBA in Colorado seeks a Process Architect III to lead design of process-intensive life science facilities, translating client needs into functional environments under GMP and regulatory constraints.

You will coordinate across disciplines, mentor junior staff, and present designs to clients while ensuring quality and compliance. The role offers opportunities to influence lifesaving manufacturing facilities and may require travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field with 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Licensed Architect certification or Professional Engineer (PE) licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Translate client operational needs into practical programming and space-planning solutions.
• Coordinate across engineering, construction, and regulatory teams to resolve design conflicts and compliance gaps.
• Prepare design reports, technical narratives, and client presentations communicating design rationale and project impacts.
• Participate in client meetings to present concepts and document decisions for project integration.
• Manage project administration: schedule coordination, scope tracking, deliverable reviews, and documentation oversight.
• Review work by junior staff and provide technical feedback to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Develop facility programming recommendations and space-planning solutions based on operational needs and regulatory requirements.
