Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 3 years of probation service experience.
• Graduate degree preferred in behavioral sciences, education, administration, management, or criminal justice.

Responsibilities

• Lead probation office as department head with executive control and supervision.
• Develop, implement, and monitor local policies and procedures in line with statewide directives.
• Collaborate with Clerk Magistrate and First Justice to ensure efficient court administration.
• Manage all probation office staff, assignments, and performance; enforce disciplinary actions.
• Develop operational policies and ensure alignment with collective bargaining agreements.
