Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Tax, Law, or Economics.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a professional services or tax services organization in the financial services industry.
• CPA, EA or licensed attorney; broad exposure to federal income taxation and state/local tax.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients and escalate complex tax matters to senior management and professionals, coordinating efforts and managing expectations.
• Deliver and manage tax compliance and consulting services to meet deadlines.
• Lead projects and work independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations.
• Manage communications with client tax liaisons and trust administration teams to gather information.
• Oversee engagement deliverables and team resources for timely and accurate tax work.
• Advise on complex tax matters and provide coaching to staff.
