Job summary

First Horizon Bank is seeking a detail-oriented Private Client Support Specialist to assist Relationship Managers in opening and maintaining client accounts, handling paperwork, and coordinating with back office. The role involves supporting loans, deposits and wealth services while maintaining confidentiality and high service levels in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 5–7 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Support Private Client Relationship Managers and staff with account opening and maintenance.
• Maintain files, monitor emails, and coordinate with back office.
• Process wire transfers, withdrawals, and loan/documentation tasks.
• Assist with loans closings and compliance collaboration.
• Organize tasks with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Protect client privacy and comply with policies.
• Attend client meetings and events as needed.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Under limited supervision, provide overall support to Private Client Relationship Managers and other support staff including, account opening/maintenance, maintaining appropriate files, monitoring multiple email inboxes, working with back office to ensure processing is completed, handling of inbound calls/requests when needed and all other facets of support activities assigned.

• Involved in all activities that align with prospective and existing clients.
• Provide assistance to the Bank's clients in all areas of the clients' relationship with the bank, including loans, deposits, and other bank services.
• Manages account opening process, including but not limited to retrieving relevant executed documentation from clients and in compliance with regulatory procedures.
• Performs account maintenance including money transfer requests, address changes, account representative changes, and various project support.
• Serves as liaison and between relationship team, compliance, and other business lines throughout the Bank.
• Fulfill relationship managers request and resolve service-related issues and inquiries.
• Assist with maintaining Relationship Managers portfolios - clearing loan, collateral, deposit, and credit exceptions; assist with collection of past due payments.
• Authorize payment and fees of private wealth client overdrafts.
• Process private wealth clients' withdrawals on lines of credit.
• Process wire requests for clients.
• Assist in ordering appraisals, flood determinations, UCC's and familiar with OFAC.
• Work closely with Bankers, Underwriters, Loan Closers, Loan processing and legal documentation areas to ensure satisfactory closing of loans to clients with supervision.
• Train on loan documentation/funding, LaserPro, and basic understanding of attorney prepared documents.
• May attend client meetings, prospect meeting, and client/marketing events.
• Organize, manage, and track multiple detailed tasks and assignments with frequently changing priorities and deadline in a fast-paced work environment.
• Process tasks and resolve issues in a timely and accurate manner.
• Ensure adherence to compliance operating policies and procedures including maintaining confidentially and client privacy at all times.
• Maintain a focus on continuous improvement and provides feedback on system enhancements.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and 5-7 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Working knowledge of MS Office Suite
