Job summary

Bank of America in the United States seeks an experienced private banking professional to expand the client base and deepen relationships with affluent clients. The role centers on managing a Branded Client Experience across wealth services and coordinating with enterprise partners to meet client needs.

The position requires strong business development, strategic advisory capabilities and leadership within a Private Bank team. On-site work and flexible, role-based arrangements are noted.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of private banking and/or complex financial services experience or equivalent financial services/business experience.
• Series 7, 63 and 65 (or Series 7 and 66); unlicensed candidates may be considered if willing to obtain licenses within 90 days of start date.
• Ability to drive new business development for target client segment ($3MM++ investable assets).
• Present a holistic approach leveraging the entire Private Bank platform.
• High touch, client-focused individual with exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Leadership role on the team and within the business community; proactive engagement.
• Ability to influence; proactively asks for and closes business.
• Solutions oriented; sales and financial aptitude a must.
• Must be a skilled negotiator and collaborate with team members.

Responsibilities

• Leads the Client Process Management Process within the client team to identify new business development opportunities
• Sources new clients in alignment with the bank’s established risk appetite
• Leads the client team to deliver meaningful interactions and a Branded Client Experience
• Develops an in-depth understanding of clients’ needs, preferences, and overall wealth strategy
• Advocates for clients and prospects as their trusted advisor with integrated wealth solutions
• Encourages use of digital capabilities to enhance client experience
• Builds relationships with internal and external partners and centers of influence
