Job summary

BlackCube Labs is seeking a senior wireless network engineer to design and deploy Private 4G/5G networks, DAS, and CBRS solutions for enterprise environments, including manufacturing campuses and data centers.

You will develop architectures, roadmaps, and standards for Private Cellular, collaborate across LAN/WAN/WLAN teams, and support deployments from PoC to production in a hybrid Plano, TX setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• 8-10 years of professional experience in cellular, wireless, network engineering, telecommunications, or related field.
• Hands-on experience with Cellular Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) and signal-boosting solutions.
• Designing and deploying Private Cellular Networks (Private 4G/5G) using licensed and CBRS spectrum.
• Strong understanding of enterprise network technologies, TCP/IP, LTE, RF technologies, LAN/WAN/WLAN/firewalls.
• Experience with network analysis and performance tools such as Wireshark, iPerf, or similar.
• High-Performance Mindset: resilience, emotional intelligence, agile delivery.
• Technologist DNA: understanding difference between coding and engineering.

Responsibilities

• Develop standards, solution architectures, and roadmaps for Private Cellular and Radio infrastructure.
• Design enterprise Private Cellular solutions for campus, manufacturing, data center, and remote-site environments.
• Design and deploy Private 4G/5G networks using licensed and/or CBRS spectrum.
• Collaborate with LAN, WAN, WLAN, Security, and architecture teams to integrate cellular with the broader enterprise network.
• Support Private Cellular initiatives from PoC through production deployment and act as escalation point for issues.
• Conduct and coordinate site surveys for Private Cellular and DAS deployments; develop site plans for proper coverage.
• Supervise and/or perform onsite installations, maintenance, upgrades, and software enhancements.
• Serve as escalation point for operational Cellular and Radio issues; use tools like Wireshark and iPerf for analysis.
• Develop and maintain Operational Support Guides, architecture docs, deployment procedures, and technical standards.
