Job summary

Crowe is seeking a Privacy Consultant to help operationalize privacy programs and architect technology-enabled privacy solutions for clients. You will work across data governance, regulatory compliance, and privacy risk management while mentoring junior staff and delivering high-impact client work.

The role emphasizes collaboration with client stakeholders, rigorous documentation, and staying current with global privacy frameworks to drive effective outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least 3 years of professional experience.
• Minimum 2 years delivering privacy gap assessments or privacy technology implementations.
• Strong knowledge of privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, LGPD) and related frameworks.
• Ability to independently manage engagements with limited oversight.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• One or more relevant professional certifications (e.g., CIPP, CIPM, CIPT, CISSP, CISA).

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in operationalizing privacy programs by designing and implementing privacy processes, governance models, and documentation.
• Support the implementation and configuration of privacy technology platforms (DSAR automation, data inventories, consent management).
• Map data flows, systems and business processes to identify privacy risks and controls.
• Translate regulatory requirements into practical operational controls and procedures.
• Assess privacy programs against GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, LGPD, NIST, ISO 27701.
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to team development.
• Prepare thorough documentation and deliverables on schedule.
• Communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
