Role Overview

This is a remote position, ideally based on the East Coast or Central North America to facilitate collaboration across teams.

Team and Reporting

You will join our Legal Incidents Team, reporting to the Director of Privacy - Incident Response. Our team comprises experienced privacy professionals providing global, follow-the-sun incident support to ensure legal compliance and uphold our values.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with business teams to investigate incidents and manage legal obligations.
  • Provide compliant, business-focused solutions, balancing risk and company values.
  • Identify and improve incident response processes and tooling.
  • Review and advise on external communications during incidents.
  • Build strong relationships between legal and partner teams.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of legal practice, including advising on privacy breaches.
  • Legal qualifications in your jurisdiction.
  • Knowledge of privacy regulations such as GDPR, Australian Privacy Act, etc.
  • Ability to communicate complex legal and technical concepts clearly to senior leaders.
